〖ReaRflex後照鏡〗與〖歡迎光臨麟光社〗很高興邀請 Miri Ian Gossing 和 Felix Bartke前來分享他們的作品。本節目將帶領觀眾穿越德國、英國與美國之間那些的怪異地方與陰森建築——那些被未竟慾望所盤踞、成為過往夢想棲身的地方與表面。物件與表面甦醒過來,告訴我們它們的祕密;酷兒幽靈被喚醒,而記憶逐漸消散。本節目集結來自德國科隆的 Miri Ian Gossing 與 Felix Bartke 的合作與個人作品。
In this program we take you on a journey through uncanny places and eerie architectures in Germany, UK and USA. Places and surfaces that are haunted by unfulfilled desires and refuges for living a dream long gone.
Objects and surfaces come to life to tell us their secrets; queer ghosts are awakened and memories fade.
The program combines collaborative and solo works of Miri Ian Gossing & Felix Bartke from Cologne , Germany.
Miri Ian Gossing Miri Ian Gossing 是一位視覺藝術家、導演、策展人與電影製片。Miri經常與 Lina Sieckmann 合作,兩人同為科隆媒體藝術學院校友。Miri創作出一系列風格鮮明的 16mm 膠片作品,融合紀錄影像、虛構敘事與拾得素材(found footage),並獲得多項肯定,包括德國短片獎與 Wim Wenders 獎助。其藝術研究關注「幽靈學(hauntology)」、創傷地景與酷兒感性。作品曾於國際重要展覽與影展放映,包括:柏林漢堡車站美術館,鹿特丹影展,柏林影展,東京Image Forum, 紐約Anthology Film Archives等。其混合類型長片 SIRENS CALL 於 2025 年柏林影展首映,廣受好評。Miri Ian Gossing is a visual artist, director, curator and film producer. They often work collaboratively with Lina Sieckmann with whom they studied at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne.
They have created a distinctive body of 16mm films blending documentary imagery, fiction and found footage that have garnered numerous accolades, including a German Short Film Award and the Wim Wenders Grant. Their artistic research explores themes of hauntology, traumatised landscapes and queer sensibilities.
Their work has been shown international in exhibitions and film festivals worldwide (including Hamburger Bahnhof – Museum für Gegenwart Berlin, International Film Festival Rotterdam,Berlin International Film Festival, Image Forum Tokyo and Anthology Film Archives New York City).
Their hybrid feature-length film SIRENS CALL premiered highly acclaimed at the Berlinale 2025.
Felix Bartke Felix Bartke 現居並創作於德國科隆。2025 年,他取得科隆媒體藝術學院的電影與視覺藝術跨域學位,師承 Matthias Müller 。其作品經常於 International Short Film Festival Oberhausen 首映,並於國際影展、展覽與電視播出。他曾獲德國國家學術基金會視覺藝術領域獎學金。在其實驗紀錄片中,他編織多種影像格式與素材,探討電影敘事學、男性氣質建構與階級論述。
Felix Bartke lives and works in Cologne, Germany. In 2025, he received his diploma with honors at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne at the interface of film and visual arts with Prof. Matthias Müller. His works regularly premier at the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen and were shown internationally at festivals, in exhibitions and on TV. He has been a scholarship holder of the German National Academic Foundation in the field of visual arts. In his experimental documentaries, which weave together various film formats and materials, he deals with the narratology of cinema, constructions of masculinity and class discourses

本MV為藝術家雙人組 Gossing/Sieckmann、剪接與 VFX 藝術家 Nicole Wegner,以及來自北京的噪音音樂家 GUAN 之合作計畫。影片以 16mm 膠片拍攝於德國科隆動物園內一場重新演繹的中國傳統燈節。影像挪用並重組對中國文化的異國化視角,使其轉化為一場感官旅程。在模糊與位移中進入狂亂的感知狀態,呈現出一片被美學化卻又詭異的荒野,化為色彩與形狀的狂喜。動物幽靈、動畫生命體與人工植物隨著 GUAN 異界般的聲響低鳴。
The music video China Light is a cooperative project between artist duo Gossing/Sieckmann, editor and VFX artist Nicole Wegner, and the noise musician GUAN from Beijing, China. Filmed on 16mm film at a re-staging of a traditional Chinese Light festival in the Zoological Gardens of Cologne, Germany, the video takes images and surfaces of an exoticized view on chinese culture and merges them into a vivid trip. Blurring and shifting into a frenzy state of perception the film reveals an aestheticized and uncanny wilderness becoming an ecstasy of colors and shapes. Ghosts of animals, animated lifeforms and artificial plants arise and drone to the ambient and otherworldly sounds of GUAN.

本片是一場對「慾望的商業建築」的電影探索。透過 22 個場景段落,凝視內華達州婚禮教堂的室內空間,思考場景如何建構「愛」的文化組織形式。一名女性聲音朗讀著一封曖昧的情書,寫給一位未知的戀人。她在自我實現與自我優化之間失衡,困於親密關係的難題。
Desert Miracles is a cinematic exploration of a commercialized architecture of desire. Across 22 different tableaus the film meditates upon the interiors of Nevada’s wedding chapels, considering how the scenery opens up to constitute a cultural organisation of “Love”. A female voice is heard reading out an ambiguous letter to an unknown lover finding herself troubled by the challenges of relationships, unable to negotiate a balance between self-fulfilment and optimization.

A Western-Ranch in german no man’s land, hidden behind bushes by the motorway. The dream of living life as a movie-cowboy becomes real. Contemplation and routine work, every stroke seems just right, until the cigarette smoke conjures up the ghosts of days gone by.

Souvenir explores the deserted inside of contemporary 36-hour- minicruise ferry ships between the Netherlands, Germany, Norway and the UK. As a low-budget replica of luxurious Caribbean cruises, the ship is in a constant state of transit, never arriving at a final destination. On board settings and décor bear reference to a European history of seafaring and trade while the actual ocean remains distant – in surveillance monitors, the on-board cinema and panoramic window fronts.
